Meet the Copilots

When someone says “Hey talk to me about this Microsoft Copilot”, my initial response is “Which one”. Copilot has become the ubiquitous term for GenAI in many Microsoft products.

The section below is my interpretation of what the most common copilots so far

Copilot

The best starting place is https://copilot.microsoft.com or one of the Bing Copilot sites.

Depending on if you have a Microsoft Account and what type you will get different experiences

Copilot Pro

Copilot Pro is the ‘Pro-sumer’ version that allows individuals and family accounts to get in on the Copilot action.

Copilot for M365

Copilot for Microsoft 365 is the game changer for businesses of all sizes.

In addition to having Copilots tuned with the scope of the applications they are in, the Copilot with Graph Grounded Chat allows you to prompt across your Outlook Content, OneDrive, Sharepoint and any connected services to you Organisations MS Graph.

Copilot for Windows 11

This is where I spend a lot of my ‘Copilot Time’ having Copilot on my toolbar in Windows makes it so easy and accessible to use.

I mainly use it for my Work or Web prompts, helping me remember those pesky Excel formulas or just being my AI Sidekick to ask questions to.

Yes I can use it to ask Windows to change my theme but the accessibility is & convenience is the selling point for me!
